Primary 7 visit to the NW200! 🏍️

8th May 2026

Primary 7 were delighted to be invited to the NW200 hospitality tent where we were warmly welcomed by Brian Moore and Alan Logan.  ⭐️

Stephen from An Garda Síochána and Ciara from the PSNI spoke to the children about road safety and the importance of keeping safe when using electric scooters. 🛴

Steve Platter explained all about his vital role of looking after new comers to the NW200, showing them the course and keeping them safe.

Paul Jordan spoke about the importance of his team and their own special roles, getting him and his bike ready for the races over the weekend.

The children enjoyed exploring the paddock and watching various teams prep and get the bikes ready for the races. The children had the opportunity to ask questions and get signatures from some of the riders including Paul Jordan. Some of the riders also very kindly gave the children some posters and stickers, they were so excited!

Cancer Focus NI spoke to the children about sun safety and provided some very cool sunglasses and UV bracelets.

The Primary 7 children were delighted with their VIP lanyards, ice-cream, sunglasses and goodies bags and returned to school absolutely buzzing about the NW200!  🏍️ ✨
