Primary 7 Shine in MakeCode Coding Challenge!
Primary 7 have been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks, completing a fantastic series of MakeCode coding lessons using the micro:bit. Their creativity, perseverance and problem‑solving skills have been on full display!
Pupils successfully coded a beating heart animation, created their own LED name badges, designed expressive emoji displays and built a randomly selecting electronic dice. They also experimented with sensing and variables to make a fun LOVE meter, before finishing with an exciting project—sending and receiving wireless messages between two micro:bits!
To celebrate their progress and growing digital skills, every pupil has now achieved their Microbit Certificate, formally recognising their coding understanding and hard work throughout the programme.
We are so proud of how confidently Primary 7 have embraced coding and digital thinking. Well done, everyone!
