P6 Abercorn Court Visit
30th Jan 2026
Our P6 class visited Abercorn Court today, where they were able to speak to residents and ask them questions about their lives growing up and how different their childhoods were. We discussed school, home life, sports, food and games, amongst other things.
The residents taught the P6 pupils a number of games from their childhood, including 'Dusty Bluebells', skipping rhymes and how to make and use a 'button buzzer' - some found this quite tricky to master!
Our session ended with a story from Kate Murphy, which was enjoyed by all!
Thank you to Kate Murphy and Abercorn Court for inviting us, we had a lovely morning.
