P6- The Language of the Land and Sea
29th May 2026
Last week, our P6 pupils concluded their Footsteps of Giants project with a session that focused on 'The Language of the Land and Sea'. With help from Jim Allen and Robin Ruddock, who had planned some marvellous activities, pupils learned about how names of special places, towns, ports, etc. came to be. Pupils were then given the opportunity to report back to our friends in Wales, and educate them on our place names and the history behind them.
A special thank you goes out to Tierna Mullan and Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust for including us in the project and providing us with such wonderful learning opportunities!
