What a busy day P5 have had. This morning we welcomed back the team from Keep NI beautiful. We undertook a Bio Diversity Audit and found all kinds of insects and wildlife. We found slaters, New Zealand flatworms, millipedes, centipedes, ear wigs and lady bugs. We also looked at the trap camera that we set up and found that our playground becomes a place for foxes, hedgehogs, mice and many birds to play once we all go home!
in the afternoon we met up with our friends at The Skerries Fold and were given the pleasure of handling various sea creatures. The children and adults learned a great deal and we look forward to continuing our partnership next year.
