P6 spent the morning converting weights to work out the exact quantities for the ingredients required for our brownie recipe.
We put our fraction skills to the test, using the answers to our calculations to complete and follow the recipe and bake the perfect number of brownies for our class. It was great to practise using mathematics for real life situations that our pupils will most likely face in the years ahead!
Later in the day, we used our mathematical skills to break out of escape rooms and we completed an art activity based around our learning of fractions.
P6 have had such an enjoyable Number Day!
